Hi! My name is Sonal Shah Rajan and I write this blog. I live in Fairfield, CT, but was born in Walnut Creek, CA, just outside of San Francisco. I’ve lived and traveled around the world but call Augusta, GA, where my parents currently live, home. I have absolutely no professional culinary experience but love to cook. If you visited my home, you’d find an office overrun with stacks of cooking magazines, and kitchen cupboards bursting with cookbooks and recipes. My mom is my inspiration and she is a fantastic cook. I share a love of cooking with my brother and between the three of us, we make a mean meal.
I started this blog because I wanted a place to share what I love about food. Professionally, I’m the director of marketing for an enterprise software company, Active Endpoints. Theoretically, this blog should help me in my work as it will force me to write regularly, even if I don’t feel like it. Perhaps I’ll be able to sneak a pasta recipe onto our corporate website or a recipe for business process management (BPM) success will find its way into one of my blog posts. Food is magical in its ability to cross boundaries, whether cultural, religious, geographical or maybe in my case, professionally.
